I think Soulchoonz is one of (if not THE) best promotional tool for independent artist who are in this business to preserve the soul and vibe of R&B music. Song Writing & Composing
The DLP Music Group offers the opportunity for selected clients to work with the talented team of Tony Camillo and Di-Lee. Tony is best known for his Grammy Award-winning "Midnight Train To Georgia" by Gladys Knight and The Pips, as well as Tony's own Bazuka which delivered the hit single, "Dynomite". Tony has worked with such noted artists as Stevie Wonder, Freda Payne, The Supremes, Millie Jackson, The Three Degrees and, of course, Gladys Knight and The Pips. His background includes working with Holland-Dozier-Holland and the Motown organization.
A member of the British Academy of Songwriters, Di-Lee has a 20 year background in soul music originating in the legendary North-West of England. Her past activities have included amongst others soul venue promotions, running the Soulchoonz record label, development of the Soulchoonz website and soul artist music promotions. In this period, Di-Lee has worked with many artists including The Four Tops, The Embers, Darryl D. White, Eugene Wilde, Romina Johnson, O'Bryan, Norwood, Tashan, Cashmere, Ty Causey and others.
Publishing
DLP Music Group provides publishing not just for its own catalogue. Selected clients are offered publishing services, which includes seeking revenues through activities such as broadcast and public performances, mechanical royalties, securing a Record Deal, seek commissions for the writer's works on radio/TV/films, endeavour to place the music with advertising agencies for possible 'jingle' usage, licensing the works for ancillary usages such as graphic rights, looking for soundtrack synchronisation licenses, using contacts in broadcast stations to encourage DJs etc to play the music on air, as well as pitching songs to established recording artists with a view to the work being recorded by that artist.
